Transit for people with disabilities

If you are unable to use regular public transit due to a disability, you may be eligible for GRT's MobilityPLUS service. Eligibility is considered on a case-by-case basis. Learn more about booking rides, fares and more. 

Rapid transit and light rail transit

A Light Rail Transit (LRT)/bus transit (BRT) system called ION is currently being built in Waterloo Region. The system will provide the cities of Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo with a rapid transit line.
