Thank you for choosing Waterloo Region as your home in Canada!
Immigration Waterloo Region brings together the information immigrants, employers, and partners need to help newcomers settle, work, and belong in our region.
Whether you are new to the region, an employer looking to better support your immigrant workforce, or a partner strengthening programs and services, explore the data, tools, and connections that help make Waterloo Region more inclusive and welcoming for everyone.
Working together to support immigrant success in our community
Immigration Waterloo Region is powered by the Immigration Partnership, a 20+‑year collaborative initiative that connects community organizations, post‑secondary institutions, businesses, and leaders to strengthen how immigrants live, work, contribute, and thrive in Waterloo Region.
We do not provide direct services to immigrants. Instead, we work with partners to improve systems, share knowledge, and drive collective impact so newcomers are better supported through existing programs and services provided by our partners.

Territorial Acknowledgement
The Region of Waterloo is on the Haldimand Tract, the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, Anishnaabe and Chonnonton peoples. We are grateful to learn, live, work and play here alongside our Indigenous neighbours.
Visit our First Nations page to explore resources about Indigenous communities and learn how newcomers can engage in respectful learning about reconciliation.
